Cancer Care Team

In order to improve the cancer care quality and to promote the nursing profession, Pingtung Hospital set up cancer care team in 2011. This team calls a meeting once a month to discuss the cancer clinical care, including:
1. Outpatient chemotherapy injection room – providing safety injection
2. Special consultation service – providing care guideline, continuous care consultation service.
3. Case management – providing case management
4. Multidisciplinary team meeting – discussing care program, treatment strategies and etc.
5. Cancer care treatment and quality control.
6. Keeping the track of patient treatment or non-treatment patients.
7. Cancer registry – for development of cancer data.
8. Hospitalization care – providing evaluation of cancer care and supporting patients’ family.
